Military and Family Life Counselors (MFLC) in the Air Force provide short-term, confidential counseling services to support Airmen, Air Force civilians, and their families. MFLCs address a wide range of issues, including stress management, relationship challenges, deployment-related concerns, parenting, and grief. They offer flexible, solution-focused counseling with no records kept, ensuring complete confidentiality except in duty-to-warn situations.
MFLCs provide individual, couples, and family counseling, often meeting in non-traditional settings such as on base, at home, or in the community. They are also available for workshops, training, and group sessions on resilience, conflict resolution, and work-life balance. By offering accessible, stigma-free support, MFLCs play a critical role in enhancing the mental and emotional well-being of Air Force members and their families.
