NON-DOD ID CARDHOLDERS:  Please visit the Visitor Control Center (VCC) located adjacent to the Main Gate, 1325 South Carolina Rd., Building 446. Once there, the driver should have a valid reason for entering the base, request a background check and show their REAL ID compliant driver's license. If they don't have a REAL ID compliant license or the license states “NOT FOR FEDERAL IDENTIFICATION”, they will need a secondary form of federal identification, such as a birth certificate, passport, or Social Security card.

DELIVERIES: Delivery drivers must use the Main Gate for entry. 

During duty hours: The driver must go to the VCC and present their license, and name/address/phone number of the recipient.

After duty hours: The driver must proceed to directly to the gate and present their license, and name/address/phone number of the recipient.

If the driver does not have a background check on file and/or if the delivery was not coordinated with the recipient, the driver will be denied access.

SPECIAL EVENTS:  Sponsors need to contact the VCC at (803) 647-8187 or Installation Security at (803) 647-8708 to coordinate access for non-military affiliated personnel.
