Chaplain Corps

The Chaplain Corps is made up of credentialed Chaplains and Religious Affairs Airmen (RAA) to form a Religious Support Team (RST) that provides Airmen and their families spiritual care and opportunities to practice their constitutional right to the free exercise of religion.

The heart of their mission is to spiritually and emotionally undergird the military member and family throughout their time of service and life transitions.  This is accomplished through religious observances, providing pastoral care, confidential counseling, and advising leadership on the spiritual, ethical, moral, morale, core values, and religious accommodation requests.

Furthermore, the Chaplain Corps team is specifically trained in crisis intervention after a traumatic event and provides suicide prevention, intervention and postvention training and support. The Religious Support Team also serves Airmen and families during all phases of the mission, domestic operations, and the deployment cycle.  They play a key role in the readiness and reintegration through conducting privileged communication counseling, faith-based services, relationship resiliency programs like Strong Bonds and other spiritual resiliency education and skills training.  Workplace, couples, individuals, and family trainings are available as scheduled or by request.

We stand ready to help you as you serve in dedication to your state and nation.
