169th FW competes in the 2009 Falcon Air Meet in Jordan.

An F-16 Fighting Falcon from the 169th Fighter Wing at McEntire Joint National Guard Base, South Carolina, returns to Muwaffaq Salti Air Base, in Al Azraq, Jordan on October 22, 2009. Airmen from the US are in Jordan for the 2009 Eager Tiger 10, Falcon Air Meet (FAM). The goal of the FAM is to train and work through friendly competition between the air forces of the U.S., Middle East, and other F-16 users from around the world. In this year?s meet, F-16 units from Belgium, Jordan and the U.S competed in the areas of F-16 maintenance and operations centered on Lockheed Martin?s F-16 Fighting Falcon. The meet was inspired by Prince Feisal Bin Al Hussein and first organized in 2006. A main goal of the competition is the improvement of the relationship of Jordan with its partners and the promotion of stability in the region. (SCANG Photo by TSgt.
