169th AMXS, Fabrications Flight

TSgt. Lisa Hall, a non-destructive inspection (NDI) technician with the 169th Maintenance Squadron's Fabrications Flight at McEntire JNGB, S.C., inspects ferrous metal parts for discontinuities using a magnetic particle machine on December 3, 2011. Jet parts, or anything that could be considered magnetic, is rinsed with a solution that magnifies any possible defect and then inspected for any discontinuities. The Fabrications Flight is composed of three areas; Aircraft Structural Maintenance, Non-Destructive Inspection and Aircraft Metals Technology. (SCANG photo by TSgt. Caycee Cook)
