Crash, Damaged, Destroyed Aircraft Recovery Exercise

Crew Chiefs with the 169th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron at McEntire Joint National Guard Base, S.C., responds to a simulated aircraft mishap with a crashed F-16 fighter jet and UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter during a Crash, Damaged, Destroyed Aircraft Recovery (CDDAR) exercise on January 31, 2012. The F-16 jet is connected to a crane to be transported from the accident sight. The training was important for all personnel involved due to the reality of the scenario, with the base sharing both air frames. (SCANG photo by TSgt. Caycee Cook)
