That's right Ms. Michelle Walker, located in our base gym, is here for us every drill and during the work day. Whether you are a drill-status Guardsman or fulltime, you are encouraged to take advantage of the life-changing benefits that Ms. Walker can help you achieve and it's completely free! All you have to do is call or email her to make an appointment. 

I live in the Upstate, about two hours away, and proudly proclaim everywhere I go that I have a trainer at the base. Ms. Walker has helped me pass my PT test that I struggled miserably with by giving me mock tests monthly, exercise plans and food regimens. She also contacted me weekly to get updates on how I was executing what she created for me to tailor my routines to my PT needs. She was always a phone call or email away.

I have successfully passed my test. Yay! Now she allows me to make appointments to get exercise programs and food regimens built around my personal goals. Planning - Preparing Healthy Meals for Your Busy Week (by Ms. Michelle Walker, 169th FSS)

* Start Small - Getting into a new routine of prepping all of your meals ahead of time, starting with just a few days, and working up to preparing a week's worth later.

* Break it up - To mix it up and keep some variety, you may want to consider freezing a few meals each time you cook so you can rotate out meals each week.

* Enlist a Buddy - Try cooking with a friend or spouse since you are more likely to cook more interesting and tasty dishes than when you are just cooking for yourself.
